Growing up as a teenager in the remote Northern Territory wasn’t meant to be easy. But for Toni Tapp, the sprawling cattle property of Killarney Station in the early 1970s is home to a vivid series of childhood adventures, filled with tough characters where the harsh realities of Australia’s sunburnt country collide with what it means to be a teenager in the outback.
