When disgraced Sydney megachurch pastor Jonah Church flees intense media scrutiny to the far off town of Birdsville, Queensland, he doesn’t expect to flee west into the Northern Territory and meet God face-to-face. Despite his best and worst efforts he is thrust into the far outback town of Nineveh to help save the quirky inhabitants of the dark and menacingly gothic township of uniquely Australian outback sinners. A Bible story, of sorts.
